WoW Warrior Guide

Click Here for the Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide!Warriors are an excellent character class to begin with if you're new to World of Warcraft. In this WoW Warrior guide you'll learn how to choose the type of warrior you want to become, which statistics to focus on, and which quest areas to target.

The ultimate, original, juggernauts of destruction. Warriors are the the true combatants of World of Warcraft. But don't simply see them as mindless fighters - warriors are masters of combat: skillful, knowledgeable in all methods of war, and with a tough fighter's spirit that can rally others around them and boost morale. This WoW Warrior guide will show you there's a lot more to Warriors than meets the eye.

They are easy characters to play because, while they have a variety of abilities to be used at timely moments, you primarily attack with warriors, and they are so tough you don't have to worry about clever defence techniques as you do with most other classes. Pick the warrior if you want to straight out enjoy charging through the game, over having to learn a great deal of tactical play and constantly think of new ways to deal with things.

Warriors are also extremely popular in PvP teams and are the masters of the Arena - where players are forced to get up close and personal with eachother. They can also boost the fighting ability of the team with battle cries.

Their advantages of huge hit points and the ability to use any weapon and armour is offset only by their lack of strong healing abilities. Also, if they can't get close to an opponent with spells, they can take some damage. But massive hit points help with that, while the First Aid Profession and a huge stock pile of healing potions can solve the lack of strong healing abilities.

WoW Warrior Guide to Race

When you have deceided to play a Warrior, you next have to chose your race. There are several racial advantages and bonuses that you should take in to account. Humans, Dwarves, Orcs and Trolls make the best warriors. Dwarves have Stoneform against poison and bleeding, plus a bunch of other abilities. Humans specialise in swords and maces, and have Perception to detect stealthed Rogues. Orcs specialise in axes, have resistance to stun and Blood Fury. While Trolls have berserker rage and regeneration.

They each have great abilities and good strength. It really comes down to what type of Warrior you want, or which weapons you prefer. Actually Trolls and Elves are the 2 favoured Warrior races of this WoW Warrior guide - Trolls are the best berserkers, whereas Night Elves have the Shadowmeld ability which kind of makes your warrior a potential Rogue in plate armour!

Chosing Your Path

Warriors use Rage to charge up and use their abilities - their Rage charges up when they are struck, when they deal damage, and from certain potions and abilities. This ability makes them the most effective class against multiple opponenets at once, as the more they get hit, the more they Rage and the more devastating they become! Warriors also have some deadly retaliation strike abilities. It's basically dangerous to hit a Warrior.

There are really two main paths you can take your warrior down. One is the armour plated battle tank that acts as the ultimate tank. The other is the berserker who does the most amount of melee damage possible.

WoW Warrior Guide to Talents

You will steer your Warrior with the Talent points you get him or her. Although, by choosing their stance any warrior can take on both roles - but you will enhance one of the other with the Talents you choose to develop. They have three Talent arms: Protection, Fury and Arms.

Arms builds strong bleeding skills and very high single blow damage - especially with two-handed weapons. Two deadly Arms abilities are Sudden Death (executes opponent) and Mortal Strike (reduces healing). Fury Gives the Warrior Bloodsurge and Bloodthirst, which allow immense damage while regenerating the Warrior. Focuses more on giving high, sustained damage. Can also wield two 2-handed weapons with Titan's Grip.

But the Fury Talent arm is the most fragile of the three - it leaves the Warrior more exposed to damage and it's best to focus more on Arms (for the damage) and Protection (for the defence). The Protection arm grants lots of stun techniques, and retaliatory techniques like Revenge, Shockwave. It makes the shield a weapon and damages people who hit you - an excellent Talent Arm to develop.
