WoW Gold Guide
In World of Warcraft having the
ability to earn Gold is essential to enjoy the game fully
and level as fast as possible. In this WoW Gold guide I'll
first explain some basic Gold-making tips and tactics for
beginners, before moving onto some more advanced, serious
Gold-making tactics.
You need Gold in WoW to pay for items, repairs, equipment,
mounts, potions, information, scrolls, enchantments and a whole
load of other things. The number one thing I want to emphasise
in this WoW Gold guide is that it's essential to keep a good
cash flow going through the game and keep your bank account in
the green at all times. If you run out of gold it can really
hold up your momentum while you go to figure out how to make
some.
The best tactics for earning Gold is to think about it right
from the start when you are choosing your professions. Then
have a method of earning gold as you play the game. Stick to
the gold-making habits outlined in this WoW Gold guide:
Most of the professions can earn you an income but some are
better than others, so balance up the benefits of a particular
profession to your character against the amount of gold it can
make.
Two of the best are Mining and Skinning. If you grab these
two professions as you travel, completing quests and leveling,
you can easily skin the animals you kill and you will come
across plenty of Mines to Mine. You can sell these skins and
ores for a good ongoing income. Leatherworking, Herbalism and
Tailoring (bags) are good money-makers too, from selling what
you produce.
As this WoW Gold guide is aimed more towards players who are
quite new to WoW, I'd say that Mining is the best one
for income because metal ores and bars are used to make so
much different stuff in WoW. Here are some prices you can
expect for metal ore (per stack): Copper 60 to 80 silver. Tin:
40 to 90 silver. Bronze: 80 silver to 1.20 gold. Silver: 5 to 8
gold. Iron: 2.5 to 3 Gold. Gold: 2 to 4 gold.
Go on all the quests you can, they are a great way to earn
gold and items to sell as you level. Take it easy on buying
items and equipment, save your money. You can do fine with what
you find, and before you reach about level 40 your character
does not depend so much on what gear they have. After level 40
the gear you have become smuch more important. Also around
level 40 you want to be abe to afford the best mount, so you
will be glad you saved.
Pay attention to the mobs that drop more gold - basically
humanoid opponents will drop more than the others.
Power Leveling
Once you have reached the slightly higher levels, you can
sell your serives to other players who are still at a lower
level - offering to take them through quests they could not
otherwise do alone for some gold. They gain a tonne of
experience this way and you get some easy gold.
WoW Gold Guide to Fishing
Fishing is also very lucrative from early in the game.
Alchemists need fsh oils to make their potions. On occasion you
can catch an oyster with a pearl inside that can sell at
the Auction House for 30 gold! Although I don't want to
encourage hoping for luck in this WoW Gold guide, but more to
develop a system.
Some of the most profitable fish to catch are Deviate Fish,
which you can catch in the Wailing Caverns in The Barrens - and
can get you upto 40 gold an hour for what you catch. Firefin
Snappers in Stanglethorn in the Wetlands are also very valuable
as they are used to make Fireoil for Elixirs of fire potions
and other things. stacks of 20 Firefin snappers sell for upto 3
gold at the Auction House. And Stone Scale Eels, which you can
find in Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas have oil that is very
in demand by Alchemists. These babies go for 15 gold a stack of
20, which means about 30 gold per hour of fishing.
