Anyway, back to my top 3 tips to WoW leveling:

Have a Break

When your character is well-rested in WoW, the amount of experience you gain for all the same actions increases by 200%! Therefore, if you can keep your character in a rested state you will shoot up levels far faster. But this does mean that you have to take breaks from play while your character rests - it's really a function of the game designed to help casual gamers who will only play for short periods at a time.

If you are too eager to keep on going, as many WoW players are, you might want to play two characters at the same time. Many people do this to get maximum enjoyment from the game without pausing all the time. So you could play one character while the other rests, and so on. But it's not absolutely necessary to rest to keep on leveling, if you'd rather just keep on ploughing ahead without rest that's fine.

Power Leveling

This technique can be tricky but very effective - one I want to highly recommend you try out in this World of Warcraft leveling guide. It is really an advanced method for moving up the levels fast that requires the help of another character. You probably know by now that when you complete higher level quests you gain more experience. What many people do is ask a higher level character than theirs to take them through a high-level quest, one that they couldn't do on their own. This is the only way their character could survive these quests, and gain a tonne of experience in doing so.

You may want to ask a friend to help you out. Otherwise other characters will often do this service in return for gold, items, or even return 'power-leveling' services.

Black Hat Techniques

There is a method of leveling that is very much frowned upon by the WoW community but nethertheless people do. That is using a leveling service - where people will actually pay others, a company or a person, to play their character and level up. These companies will often do this by using 'Bot Runners', that is a special script that makes the character do an action over and over again to gain experience.

You may come across a character in game that is doing the same action over and over again. This could well be a Bot Runner, and you should report it to the WoW support staff. Using these services are dangerous as you might be banned and the company you employ could steal your account. This World of Warcraft leveling guide certainly doesn't recommend them. No need to use them anyway - legitimate leveling methods by playing the game are effective and much more fun!
